Renewing your road Tax in Cyprus

Just a reminder to everyone that road tax in Cyprus is renewable from January 1^st.

You will not get a reminder but can go to the bank and pay it or online. The online site is www.jccsmart.com but according to the site they are not available until 11^th January 2010.

I also went to pay at the bank yesterday only to be told to come back next week! This is Cyprus my friends!

The cost of road tax depends on the engine size of the car. Kia sportage Jeep 2000 cc costs €239 for 12 months Toyota Yaris 1000 cc cost €42 for 12 months. I hope this is of some help.

how much is road tax in cyprus? we are intending to move there in September (earlier if poss) and cannot find much info on vehicle related topics.

Online service is now working and you can pay at the bank. I did mine online yesterday with no problems.
