Cyprus Boy Left in Car Dies

Can’t believe that the father forgot the boy was in the car. He was supposed to drop him off at Nursery in Larnaca at 8am but got an emergency call to perform surgery on a patient.

He locked his son in the car and only remembered at 4.30pm when his wife had been to the nursery to collect their son only to find he had never arrived there.

The father sent a nurse and another professional from the hospital down to the car but the boy was unconscious with a bottle of water next to him. He could not be revived.

This is a very sad event of what can happen in Cyprus in these extreme temperatures and the father will have to live with this forever.

It is advisable never to leave children or animals in a car unassisted even in mild conditions due to how quickly temperatures can change here in Cyprus.
