Description:

She died during a siege of Larnaca and was buried near to the salt lake where later the mosque and area was named after her.
The shrine was initially built by Sheikh Hassan around 1760. Hala Sultan Tekke is a listed Ancient Monument and consists of a mosque, minaret, mausoleum, living quarters and cemetery.
