Germasogeia Organised Walks - Limassol, Cyprus

Description:

Germasogeia (Yermasoyia) walks during October to April. 
 
The walks start and finish at the CTO office, Georgiou A'22, 4047 Germasogeia. There are 2 organised walks:-

 
A Village Blessed by Water - the walk shows village life in the beautiful village of Germasogeia taking in its historical architecture and quaint streets.

 
The Germasogeia dam built in 1979 is about 2 kilometres from the village and is part of the Germasogeia - Polemidia irrigation project to supply much needed water to the area.

 
Discover the Natural Envirnoment of Germasogeia - the tour is aimed at discovering the natural aspects of the surrounding area of Germasogeia. Experience the serenity of the countryside and stroll through the hills.

 
There is also a Nature Trail which was created by the Cyprus Forestry department and takes about half an hour to complete of which some of it is uphill!

  
The tours are organised by the CTO and accompanied by a qualified and licensed tour guide. Comfortable walking shoes are advisable.
