Description:
The Philatelic and Postal Museum is located in the Laiki Yitonia area inside the old city of Nicosia.
It was first opened in 1981 and was upgraded and renovated in 1999.
It contains remarkable series of Cyprus stamps from 1880 until today, as well as objects related to the history of the Cyprus Postal service such as old mail boxes, weighing scales, seals and more.
The Museum is open between 8am and 3pm daily.
The curator is helpful, informative and passionate about his subject.
