Macronissos Beach can be found approximately 4 kilometres west of the popular tourist coastal resort of Ayia Napa in Cyprus.
 
The beautiful sandy beach of Macronissos has crystal blue waters and is made up of three bays providing shelter from winds.
 

For refreshments, there is a snack bar on the beach serving food and drinks and a few hotels providing food overlook the beach.

 
Because it is a Blue Flag beach, it meets the standards of safety and cleanliness afforded to it. A lifeguard is on duty during the summer months and there are showers, toilets and changing facilities available to use.

 
Macronissos Beach is a popular beach with families who come and relax on the sunbeds or take up one of the many water sports on offer. Canoeing, pedal boats, motor boats, paraglyding, water skiing, wind surfing are amongst what can be hired.
 
From the beach, a short walk will take you to supermarkets, bars, restaurants and tavernas in the Macronissos area.
