The name Glyki Nero translates to 'Sweet Water' as the water is crystal clear and mostly calm. The golden sand on the beach makes you think you could be somewhere in the Caribbean.
Glyki Nero beach has Blue Flag status with a lifeguard on duty during the summer months. Facilities include showers, toilets and changing rooms.
Nearby there are restaurants, hotels and small tavernas offering refreshments. Water sports are also available close to the beach.
