Description:

Geroskipou or Yeroskipou as it is sometimes spelt is a coastal town and the second biggest municipality in the Paphos district located east of Paphos town.

Legend has it that Geroskipou (translated to Sacred Garden) was the home to Aphrodite's gardens. There is a cave in the town called the Bath of Aphrodite.
 
Although Geroskipou has an expansive historical background, it has become a mordern municipality offering all the necessary amenities of everyday life. Its main economy is tourism and it attracts many tourists each year. The beach at Geroskipou is a Blue Flag beach.

To Visit:
The Ayia Paraskevi Church
- a five domed Byzantine church built in the 11th Century.
 
Events:
Annual Beach Volleyball Tournaments
in the summer months. The CEV Challenger Cyprus is normally held in July with competitors from around the world.
