Description:
Kato Paphos (meaning lower Paphos) is the part of Paphos situated by the sea containing most of the luxury hotels and restaurants. Because Kato Paphos is open all year round, it appeals to both tourists and expatriates relocating to Cyprus. Property prices have increased over the years due to the demand of mainly British people coming to Cyprus to live.
The western part of Kato Paphos is home to the famous Paphos Mosaics. The site is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Also on the same grounds as the Mosaics, is the Roman Odeon which is used in the summer for performances.
Kato Paphos has much to offer including a wealth of historical places of interest, water sports, beautiful hotels, traditional and international restaurants and evening entertainment.
