Tiffany Shopping Mall in Limassol to Open 30th May 2009

The official date for the opening of the largest shopping mall in Cyprus has now been set for 30^th May 2009.
 

The mall will be operated by Tiffany Investments Ltd, a company co-owned by local business men and international investors. It is located near the new port at the western end of Limassol and will create around 1000 new jobs.
 

Built on a plot of 104,000 sqm2 the site will have 150 retail outlets and parking for 1,600 vehicles.
 

Boasting a wide range of fashion and home stores, including retail outlets new to the island the mall will also cater for a range of entertainment options.
 

The mall will house 17 restaurants, cafes and fast food outlets as well as amenities such as pharmacy, bank, dry cleaners, deli and bakery.
 

There will also be the first ice rink in the Republic of Cyprus and a kiddy-land and arcade games room to keep the children occupied.
 

With the emphasis on tourism the mall will provide a VAT refund office on site. Buses will also run from the tourist hotels and scheduled shopping trips will be offered to all visitors arriving at Limassol port.
 

The management are hoping to extend the normal shopping hours once it has been shown that tourists are taking an interest in the Mall.
