Cheaper Holidays to Cyprus?

The Cyprus Government is to give the Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) €12 million to help in boosting tourism next year.
 
There was a decrease in tourism this year significantly from British tourists visiting Cyprus. The looming UK recession and the strong Euro against the British pound has compounded to these figures.
 
However, to entice more tourists to the Island, hoteliers are asking for more to be done from the Government. Hotel prices are expected to be reduced next year so that tour operators do not cut their capacity.
