Cyprus to Boost Swine Flu Medicines

The Cyprus Health Minister, Christos Patsalides has confirmed that the local authorities here in Cyprus are taking all the necessary measures to combat swine flu.
 

He said that part of the measures include the monitoring of developments in neighbouring countries. The current stock of 62,000 units of antiviral medicines will be bolstered by another 22,000 expected this week.

 
A special committee has been set up to help coordinate preventive action and any cases would be treated in a secluded section of the Nicosia General Hospital.
