Now that the sun is shining all day long, we at Guide2Cyprus thought that it would be a good time to point out some attractions to get you away from the beach and cool down a bit from the intense sun.
Today we are featuring the Aphrodite Water Park in Paphos and we will be running more features during the hot summer months so keep checking out our Cyprus features.
The Aphrodite Water Park in Paphos is located at the eastern end of the main Paphos coastal road not far inland from the Cypria Maris, Paphian, Pioneer and Phaethon hotels of Kato Paphos.
The water park provides a fun day for all the family with various exciting rides to suit all ages. Kids have their own slides and pool giving hours of fun filled entertainment.
Free parking is available for visitors in front of the water park.
The water park will even reimburse bus fares if using routes 11 or 15 upon presentation of a valid ticket at the ticket desk.
Refreshments can be obtained at the International Fast Food Restaurant next to the adventure playground and the Kyrenia beside the kiddie's splash pool. Both serve a wide selection of food and drink. There are also a few refreshment kiosks scattered around the park.

| Wild Water | This body only winding chute will sweep you into the plunge pool at the bottom |
| Family Rafting | Fun ride as the giant dinghy holds up to 4 people and is sure to thrill as it spins down the winding chute |

For Fun
| Lazy River | Float in a double tube or alone on the relaxing mile long lazy river |
| Wave Pool | Catch a wave whilst relaxing on your inflatable tube |
| Leisure Pool | Relax and watch the world go by whilst cooling off in the pool |
| Cross Over | Try to cross the wet, slippery pads and holding the rope... skill required! |
| Super Volcano | Try to climb the volcano in the water hanging on to the footholds! |
| Wet Bubble | Climb the bouncy balloon and then bounce all the way down to the water |

| Kiddies Pool | The splash pool has scaled down versions of the adult rides |
| Fast Slide | Body only slide that will twist and turn with a splash at the end |
| Slow Slide | For very young children, the slide slowly gets you down into the water |
| Pirate Ship Slide | 40ft pirate ship with water cannons and walk the plank |
| Wet Bubble | Challenge little feet to climb the bubble and bounce-slide back down |
| Mini Volcano | A test of agility for all those budding young mountaineers! |
| Soak and Splash | Get soaked by the splashing rainforest, melon bucket, spraying elephant and shooting water clown |
| Water Mushrooms | Cool off under the shower from the mushrooms |

All purchases made inside the park are charged to the special wristband given to you at the entrance and you are billed at the exit when you leave. No need to carry any cash at all. Entrance price includes all rides, all day, free tubes, showers and changing facilities.
