Description:
This weekend sees world famous rocker, Alice Cooper coming to Cyprus to perform in concert at the seaside town of Limassol.
The show is part of Alice Cooper's 'Theatre of Death' World Tour which has so far seen him perform in Spain, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Norway and Switzerland since it started touring in May this year.
Born Vincent Damon Furnier in 1948, he changed his name to Alice Cooper and broke into the international music industry in 1971 with the hit 'I'm Eighteen'. Since then his music career has taken on many different styles of music spanning over four decades.
Away from the music scene, Alice Cooper is a film actor, a golfing celebrity, radio DJ and owns his own restaurant.
The 'King of Rock and Shock' famous for his scandalous gothic costumes and black make up bleeding from his eyes, together with guillotines and electric chairs, will perform the new show that Cyprus has never before experienced. He will be promoting his 18th solo album released in 2008 'Along came a spider'.
After Cyprus, he will tour North America and Australia and finish the rest of the European stage of the tour in November where he will perform in Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester.
