As part of our features on things to see and do in Cyprus, today we look at the Camel Park in Mazotos near to the town of Larnaca on the south coast of Cyprus.

The Mazotos Camel Park in Cyprus provides a fun day out for all the family. The Park is ideally located 15 minutes drive from Larnaca, 30 minutes from Limassol and 40 minutes from Nicosia.

 
Camel rides, lasting about 15 minutes, can be taken around the park or experience the Camel Safari ride and see Mazotos and the surrounding area from a great height.

 
During the hot summer months, the swimming pool is the perfect place to cool down after a camel ride. The kids can splash about in the pool whilst parents can watch on and relax from the pool bar or the green grass around the pool.

 
For the kids there is the Luna Park play area with bouncy castle, swings, fun tea cups and an indoor games and play area.

There is a small museum and a souvenir shop in the Camel Park so that you can take home a keepsake from your day out.

See the different animals that surround Noah's Ark. Deers, goats, ostriches, horses, donkeys and ponies are among the animals that you may see wandering around the area. Special feeding bags can be bought to feed the animals.
 

At the restaurant inside the park, there is a selection of local Cyprus dishes including grills, seafood and meze as well as salads, breakfasts, sandwiches, snacks and desserts. A wide variety of hot and cold drinks are also served at the restaurant.

The Mazotos Camel Park also caters for parties and functions for both children and adults!
