PRESS RELEASE

The International Federation of Aromatherapists Comes to Cyprus

Aromatherapy is now one of the most popular complementary and alternative treatments here in Cyprus so it is very good news that a new branch of the International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFA) has opened here.

This is very exciting news for Aromatherapists, trainee therapists and the general public. Susan E Worwood M.I.F.A. has been a member of this organisation since 1990 and is now their official representative here in Cyprus.

Susan moved to Cyprus 2 years ago along with her Cypriot husband Vasilious, a Tai Chi Master. She has a clinic in both Dherynia and Nicosia and will soon be opening the first Aromatherapy College in Cyprus to be recognised by the IFA.

The IFA was founded in the UK in November 1985 and is the oldest Governing Body dedicated to setting worldwide professional standards in both the training and practise of Aromatherapy.

They are at the forefront of developments within the aromatherapy profession and have pioneered the use of aromatherapy in hospitals, hospices, special care units and general practice.

The IFA is a truly international organisation with training schools and members all over the world and has recently signed an agreement to work with the Government of China.

The IFA gives full support to their members by ways of training, development and support. For the general public this is very good news as they will be able to contact the IFA directly or IFA Cyprus to get a list of members knowing they are fully qualified Clinical Aromatherapist who have official Codes of Practice and Ethics which ensure that the highest standards and quality of treatments are sustained.

For further information on membership and IFA Aromatherapists in Cyprus please visit www.ifaroma.org or contact Susan Tel: 99 956 557  email: susan@fragrantplanet.com
