The Russian State Ballet will be coming to Cyprus to perform the Russian Imperial Ballet 19th Century classic, The Sleeping Beauty.

 
Established in 1993 by Valery Lantratov, well known for his exceptional technique, the Russian State Ballet consists of 40 brilliant dancers.

 
Valery Lantratov comes from the dancing troupe of Rudolf Nureyev, and the ballet companies of Vladimira Vasilieva, Maya Pliseckoj and Ekaterina Maximova.
 

The performance combines the exquisite choreography of Marius Petipa and the fantastic work of Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

 
The event takes place on 19th December 2009 at the Rialto theatre in Limassol and tickets are on sale at the theatre for €30. Click here for more information.
