Yesterday was the official beginning of the winter sales in Cyprus according to Commerce, Industry and Tourism Minister.
 

The sales apply to clothing, household items and footwear and are expected to boost sales during this period.
 

The sales will officially finish on Thursday 27th February.
 

Shoppers have already seen prices slashed in major supermarkets and stores across Cyprus and will be hoping to grab some more bargains during this time.
