Description:
Petrol Stations across Cyprus have now reduced their prices in accordance with the shipment of cheaper fuel received during the Christmas period.
This follows a stern warning from Commerce Minister Antonis Paschalides on Thursday that petrol stations must reduce their prices in line with the cheaper shipment of fuel as a survey had revealed that approximately 40% had not complied.
Paschalides said “This is the first and last time something like this will be allowed to happen, next time if a similar number of stations do not comply within the proper time frame, they will be prosecuted without warning.”
The decrease in price was €0.02 per litre for 95 and 98 petrol with diesel remaining the same.
