Cyprus Airways Pilots Show Christmas Spirit

Cyprus Airways Pilots Union have had a meeting to discuss further strike action in which they have decided not to take strike action over the Christmas period.
 

This is in order to ensure the Christmas spirit shows through and students studying abroad do not have their flights disrupted.
 

A Cyprus Airways spokesman called for an end to its differences regarding salary increases and invited the Pilots Union to accept the mediation proposal from the Labour Ministry which the other four unions have accepted.
  

Cyprus Airways flights were delayed by up to five hours on Monday whilst their pilots took part in a general assembly on the matter.
