Cyprus Electricity Prices Set To Go Down

Currently electricity in Cyprus is amongst the most expensive in Europe and domestic households have seen prices generally increase with each new electricity bill that arrives.

Cyprus used to be known for its cheap utility bills compared to those in the UK but since joining the European Union in May 2004, electricity prices have been on the increase. The EAC (Electricity Authority of Cyprus) has seen more complaints and enquiries in recent months from businesses and domestic customers.

However, there is some good news as consumers should start to see lower charges next month on their electricity bills.
