Proposals to improve Larnaca seafront have been discussed by civil engineers, harbour experts and coastal engineers from Greece’s Metsovios Polytechnic during a meeting with the town mayor and other officials.
 

Larnaca Mayor Andreas Moyseos said after the presentation that the town’s citizens would soon have the opportunity to view the plans and comment on the proposals.
 

The main concern is to protect the Larnaca coastline from erosion, suggestions also included ways to improve the Refineries area and the Oroklini seafront.
