Feature - Fasouri Waterpark - Limassol
Fasouri Waterpark situated on the outskirts of Limassol opened its doors in 1999 and is currently the biggest Waterpark in Cyprus. It gained a prestigious award as Europe’s leading Waterpark Attraction in 2007.
The Polynesian theme of the Waterpark gives it a real tropical feel to its environment.
So what are the main attractions that can be found at Fasouri Waterpark? Well to start with there is the Kamikazi slide for the brave and daring. The Wave pool boasts the biggest wave pool in Cyprus with seven kinds of waves.
There are slides galore including black hole slides, tube slides, body slides or race your friends on the Six Lane Mat Racer. The Black Cannons give the ultimate adrenalin rush. Be fired out of the cannon into a large bowl; climb to the top of the Big Orange Wet Bubble.
The beauty of the park is that you can relax around the pools on the freely provided sun beds and umbrellas or chill on the Lazy River if the extreme rides and slides are not your forte.
The whole family are catered for with kiddies rides and slides, grass playgrounds to extreme adult rides. Lifeguards are also on duty during opening times.
Refreshments can be found at the various venues within the Park. From snacks to gourmet meals, ice creams, crepes, doughnuts, pastas, homemade pastries, hot and cold beverages, most tastes have been catered for.
The facilities include a souvenir shop, photo shop, first aid station, toilets, showers and changing rooms.
