Disneyland Coming to Cyprus?

Russian investors are reportedly looking into constructing the world's biggest disneyland type project in the mixed Cyprus village of Pyla.
 
It is estimated to cost around 800 million euros and would be the largest investment ever made in Cyprus.
 
The project would create 3,000 new jobs and would be a valuable tourist attraction. With the upgraded Larnaca airport and the future developments of the marina and port, it would be able to cope with another half a million tourists a year to Cyprus.
 
It is hoped that should the theme park go ahead, completion would be in 2012.
