Rain Storms Hit Drought Stricken Cyprus

Description:

After a somewhat dry spell over the last week where temperatures reached over 20 degrees in parts of Cyprus, the rain has now returned in force.
 

The much needed rain is expected to last for a couple of days and heavier rain is on its way towards the weekend for a longer spell.

 
Water reserves are still at low levels but with every heavy rain spell, water levels in dams are slowly moving up.
