Cyprus Hotels Urged to Reduce Prices to Boost Tourist Trade

In a hope to boost the tourism in to Cyprus this year, hoteliers have been urged to assist by reducing their package prices.
 

Last week, the Cyprus Government abolished the overnight fees and VAT on accommodation will be reduced from 8% to 5% to help hoteliers in Cyprus cope against the current world economic crisis.
 

However, it is still expected that tourism will be down around 25% this summer.

 
Action must now be taken to make Cyprus a more inviting, cheaper destination.
