Cyprus Dams Overflow Bringing Relief to the Cyprus Water Board

Description:

The recent heavy rain in Cyprus has resulted in two of Cyprus's dams, Argaka dam in the Paphos district and Kalopanayiotis dam in the Troodos Mountain range, overflowing which should be a relief to residents of Cyprus and the Cyprus Water Authorities.
 

This now brings dam reserves up to around 16.6% compared to 11% for the same time last year.

 
Rain is expected to continue with scattered showers at the weekend.
