Paphos Airport Officially Opened

Description:

Paphos was officially opened today after Hermes Airports Limited finished the rebuilding project which commenced in May 2006.
  
Within the airport, there are now 2 check-in desks, 5 terminal gates and 14 aircraft stands. In addition, the facilities include restaurants, cafeterias and bars, a bank, duty-free shop and gift shop, disabled access, tourist information and car rental desks. There has been a huge improvement to what was offered before Hermes took over the project.
  
There are plans for a new 4-lane link road between the airport and Paphos town.
